Say It Ain't So: Matt Smith's Final Episode on Christmas Day
If there is a single reason to turn the TV set on on Christmas Day, besides the burning yule log's Christmas carols as background when opening presents, it's BBC America's annual Doctor Who Christmas special (9pm). This year's special is bittersweet, though.
The best-ever Doctor, the 11th Doctor, Matt Smith, ends his run in Steven Moffat's super-brilliant, totally addictive, latest version of the 50-plus-year-old franchise.
On the special, The Time of the Doctor, Matt's Doctor revisits old nemeses - killer NYC statues, anyone? - and old loves (ooh). It'll be great. But, now, if we can just tweak the Tardis to keep Matt from regenerating.
