An audition episode of American Idol (Fox, 8pm) that was filmed in Charlotte will air today.
The initial round of the Charlotte auditions were held at the Time Warner Cable Arena in June, with a second round of tryouts in August at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord. According to published reports, judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj clashed during the taping.
