By the end of Faking the Grade: Classroom Cheaters (9pm),
there is little doubt that we are a nation of weasels. What is
misleading in this CNBC special, to be broadcast on Wednesday, is the
implication that this is a 21st-century phenomenon.
The program looks at cheating in schools and universities, cataloging a dismaying array of examples not only by students but also by parents who helped their children cheat and by teachers who falsified grades to make their institutions look better.
