Christmas Killers Falling from the Sky

sword-size shards of ice plunge from the sky, piercing grandmas and
greedy developers alike.
The ice missiles are just one sign of the
approaching end of the world, also heralded by flocks of falling, not
calling, birds. See, when the Mayans predicted the end for this month,
this year, they linked their prophecy to “The 12 Days of Christmas,” so
the world would never forget. (What, you hadn’t heard that?)
