Man vs. Wolf (Discovery Channel, 8pm) - There have been wolf films before, but none like this. Pacific Northwest wolves hit the television screens in a new documentary airing on Discovery Channel (Saturday, 8pm). Certainly, there's a lot more "us" than "vs" in this enthralling new documentary about Washington’s returning wolves.
Conservation Northwest’s Jasmine Minbashian is one of three central characters in what she calls a "wildlife documentary about making a wildlife documentary."
"The film," she says, "follows an expedition team that sets out into the Cascades to document what’s happening with the Lookout Pack. These wolves were the first wolf pack to return to the Cascades in 70 years."
